Building of stands on the Fiets en Wandelbeurs 2010
The following possibilities are offered: a uniform stand, a customized stand , own build stand, or a complete fitted stand. Another possibility is to join a Collective Pavilion. At the bottom of this page you will find information on storage and transport of goods, furniture and electricity.
Well in advance for the fair you will receive the information needed to request extra facilities (like water, electricity, telecommunications, parking tickets, extra atmittance tickets or extra tickets for your business relations etcetera) or to register for the testcircuit.
Uniform stands
If you do not want to build your own stand, we can offer you a Uniform Stand. Uniform Stands are 3m in depth, and 3m or more in length. Stands of more than 3m in depth may be specified in consultation with the Fair’s organisers.
The standard stand unit comprises:
Clad wooden walls 5cm thick, 100 x 250 cm breadth to height
Light grey colouring
Carpet tiles, choice of colours
White freeze frame with black letters
Company name and stand number in Helvetica 7.5cm corps, 20 characters maximum
100 Watt spotlight per 3 m²
Power consumption lighting included
Two open sides in corner stands
Furnishings, counter and own power supply with wall sockets are not included.
Tacks and thin nails may be used in these wooden walls, thicker nails may be used on the edge at the top, to secure wires for hanging things up, for example. Screws may not be used. The walls must be left clean after the event: nails, sticky tape, and other materials must be removed. Additional facilities can always be arranged, You can order an electric wall socket via the RAI Webshop of the digital handbook.
The commonest extras are:
Storage cupboard or pantry 1 m² with lockable grey door, placed in a corner.
Although you will probably want us to do the stand building, the uniform stand may not meet your requirements. In which case, you can ask our stand builder to design one on the basis of your personal requirements.
You may of course supply your own design. This may be simple or exclusive and specially designed and fitted-out to project the image worthy of your company, and tailored to the visitors you wish to attract. You will receive a detailed quote before work commences. This page only shows a selection of the options available. If you require more information, we can put you in touch with our stand builder.
Build your own stand
You can, of course, also build your own stand. The design of non-standard stands must comply with the character and atmosphere of the Fiets en Wandelbeurs that the organization has in mind and must be submitted on 1 January at the latest. The organizer can propose to adapt your design and has the right to refuse ill-matching stands.
Completely fitted stand
You may wish to participate in the Fair, but have neither time for preparation, nor the opportunity to build or fit-out the stand yourself. In which case we can offer a special all-in service for the Fair, whereby you only have to take care of the sales promotion material. We will do everything else for you.
The complete service package includes:
A standard stand of 9 m2 in grey, with lighting, red carpet and white freeze frame bearing your name
Storage cupboard 1m2
A counter with bar stool
A table and chair
A 2kW power supply with wall socket
If you require a larger stand or have other requirements such as a wall or carpet in another color, a bigger storage cupboard or a complete corner seating unit, please do not hesitate to contact us.
We can also book your hotel accommodation.
General information
Storage and transport of goods
Storage and transport of goods prior to the building of the fair is performed by Van Deudekom B.V., including the transport from the storage location to the halls. You can also let this firm carry out any other transportation tasks to and from the RAI complex. More information about these possibilities can be found in the RAI Webshop.
Furniture
Furniture is not included in the Uniform Stand. You can supply furniture by yourself or you can order it from our supplier. Participants of a collective pavilion do not need to order any furniture because one table and chair are included in the participation in the collective pavilion. Of course, other items can be ordered like folder-racks and such. If you do not wish to use the supplied table and chair, but you want to bring your own furniture, please let us know well in advance. This will however not reduce the costs for your participation. Participants that build their own stand can of course also order furniture from our supplier. To order, please log in to the RAI Webshop.
Elektricity
Participants with a Uniform Stand have lighting, but they do not have any wall outlets. These can be ordered from the organisation of the fair. Ordering a wall outlet can also be done on the registration form. The power supply will be 2 KW, which is sufficient for small electronic devices like a laptop, beamer, slide-projector, a few extra lights, a small water boiler or a small coffee-machine. Larger water boilers, coffeemachines, vacuum cleaners or a fridge use too much electrical power and will blow the fuse. If you wish to use a fridge, then you must order "continuestroom". Participants that build their own stand must order electricity from the RAI Webshop.
