There will also be considerable focus on themed presentations in 2010. With a number of themed pavilions such as the Pilgrims’ Pavilion, Sustainability and Agrarian Tourism, the Safety, Orientation & Navigation, Cycling & Rambling with Children, Hill Walking and Electric Bicycles pavilions. The Benelux Square continues to grow and will now take up a large part of Hall 11. In 2010, a Theme Country will also be showcased.
Papers and workshops
There will be a comprehensive programme of Papers, and workshops presented in the rooms and lounges of the Congress Centre. This is adjacent to the Halls, with good routing for the public. Rooms are also available for exhibitors’ product presentations. It is also possible to rent out a room for yourself for the entire duration of the Fair. Test Track
A test track is available for various activities. A much larger cycling track is now located in Hall 9, with a wide outer lane for tandems and electric bicycles, providing plenty of space to try these out. There will also be a charging point for the electric bicycles.
There is an ‘Outdoor’ circuit instead of the Nordic Walking track.
Information Market
Highly rated by visitors. Experienced cyclists and ramblers provide personalized information on different destinations, equipment and scope. Feedback confirms this as one of the pillars of the Fair, along with the exhibitors’ offerings, the programme contents and the ambience.
